Linnton

This project turned a forgotten zone of the property into a feature destination. What was once a sloping lawn slowly eroding down the hillside, is now a sunny lounge area with built in stone seating and a steel channel water feature.

We took inspiration from the surrounding environment: nature preserve on one side and industrial zone on the other. The result is a unique blend of raw materials sourced from local manufactures and quarries. What was once a sloping lawn slowly eroding down the hillside, is now a sunny lounge area with built in stone seating and a steel channel water feature.

Think modern Industrial aesthetic meets lush sunny veranda in a garden whose inspirational logic eschews from the modernist maxim, "form follows function." Materials include raw weathering steel, local Basalt stone, tumbled Bluestone crushed gravel and found objects.
